So there we were at our normal club meeting at the Ace Cafe and we found ourselves surrounded by rat bikes. The one above, a classy affair, a trike decorated with only three skulls. Others were more ornate and much busier, covered in mouldings of skulls, skeletons, plastic rats and other rodents. There were other rat bikes there which looked more like my concept of what a rat bike is. Put together out of various makes and models of bikes, in various states of apparent decomposure but running bikes nonetheless. I had a chat with the owner of the above trike and he was pleased to enthuse on the comfort of the trike for passengers, plus the storage facilities he had built on to it. Contrary to perceptions, everyone at the meet was pleasant, friendly and of course bike enthusiasts.
